April 26, 2007 Maria, I cannot express to you in a letter how much you have meant to all of us. You have been much more than the caretaker of our children since they have been a couple of months old. You have been an inspiration to all of us! I have seen you as a nurturer, a teacher, a homemaker, a second-language instructor and a friend. You have welcomed every child every day with a smile and a hug. My children look forward to coming to your house 3 days a week. They have learned days of the week, colors, numbers and most of all getting along with others. My daughter comes home with hair looking prettier than when she left in the morning. My son comes home and talks about the great "sopa" that you make. Your patience is a virtue. If I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing. Your house is always so welcoming. My children have been very fortunate to have you and your family in their lives. Please know that you can have any parent call me and I will be happy to discuss what a wonderful daycare that you operate. I know that this is not goodbye but just one of the many growing up phases that we will be faced with. We will always have very fond memories of Maria's.

April 6, 2007 I employed Maria Gonzalez as our full-time daycare provider for my daughter for six weeks in July of 2004 and then again in July of 2006 for my youngest daughter, who is currently being cared for by Maria. At all times I have found Maria to be dependable, reliable, hard-working, conscientious and peace-loving. My daughter is always clean, happy and in wonderful spirits when my husband or I pick her up after a full day at Maria's. She even comes home with her hair combed and styled on a daily basis, as it takes both her dad and I together to even get a clip in her hair. Maria is always courteous and her home is always meticulous, as well as she always seems to have the children in complete order and happy! I recently needed to drop my daughter off earlier than Maria normally begins her day and she was very accommodating and flexible with my needs. I am very grateful and fortunate to have Maria care for my daughter. My daughters have both thrived being in her environment; coming home reciting the alphabet, numbers and songs. My daughter loves to be at and with Maria.

January 15, 2009 My son Carter is twenty-two months old. Carter has been at Maria's Daycare for one and a half years. Carter loves being at Maria's with her and the other children. He looks forward to going there on his scheduled days. Maria is able to expand Carter's horizons in art, language and spacial areas with their playtime as well as the structured time that she gives them. Maria is teaching Carter social skills like sharing and being considerate of the other children at the daycare. We are very glad that Carter enjoys being at Maria's Daycare. We really like Maria and how she interacts with Carter and the other children there. Maria really works with us to make the best out of every situation whether it is teething, separation anxiety or just having a bad day. Maria shows real passion for what she is doing.

March 8, 2013 We went to many different daycare facilities when searching for the right fit for our then 8-month old son, Parker. Maria's was our last stop and I am so thankful we found her! I continue to be so impressed by her balance of creating a nurturing environment, while being able to maintain structure, organization and cleanliness. I appreciate how she has a routine each day, so the children know what to expect, which is very comforting for Parker. She also is very active in continuing her early childhood development education by participating in local workshops and conferences. I have learned a lot from her in regards to strategies for building good behaviors and properly disciplining when undesirable behaviors arise. When I leave Parker at Maria's, I know he's in the best hands. He is safe, comfortable and in an environment that stimulates positive growth of social skills, creativity and learning development. I never worry, and that is a priceless gift to a mom! Maria is understanding of schedules and is accommodating when she can be. There have been a few times when we've had to change our days and she always does the best she can to help us out. I appreciate her flexibility. I cannot recommend Maria enough. She and Rosealba are natural caregivers and Parker loves them as much as we love having him there!
